It’s hard to believe that 2010 is already coming to a close. This year has flown by and it has been a great year for music. Hip hop has seen a resurgence in popularity and there have been some great songs released this year. Here are some of the top hip hop songs of 2010.

“All I Do Is Win” – DJ Khaled

All I Do Is Win is a hip hop song from American artist DJ Khaled’s fourth studio album Victory (2010). The song features American rappers T-Pain, Ludacris, Snoop Dogg and Rick Ross. Producer K.E. on the Track relies on horn stabs similar to that of DJ Khaled’s previous hits “We Takin’ Over” and “I’m So Hood”, as well as sampling Carol Douglas’ disco hit “Doctor’s Orders (1978). In the chorus, T-Pain sings using his famous Auto-Tune pitch correction effect.

The song was released as the third single from the album on February 8, 2010. It peaked at number 24 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and number 20 on the Rap Songs chart. The song also peaked at number 89 in Canada and number 69 in the United Kingdom. The official remix features vocals from new artists including Busta Rhymes, Diddy, Nicki Minaj, Fabolous, Jadakiss, Fat Joe and Swizz Beatz.

“Hard in da Paint” – Waka Flocka Flame

“Hard in da Paint” is a song by American rapper Waka Flocka Flame. The song was released as the lead single from his debut album, Flockaveli (2010). It peaked at number 35 on the US Billboard Hot 100. The song was produced by frequent collaborator Lex Luger.

The song features a prominent trap beat and is one of Waka Flocka Flame’s signature songs. The song’s title is a reference to Waka Flocka Flame’s hometown of Atlanta, Georgia, which is known for its “trap” music.
