Chance the Rapper

Chicago-based Chance the Rapper is one of the most promising young talents in hip hop today. His debut mixtape, 10 Day, was released in 2012 to critical acclaim, and he has continued to produce innovative and exciting music since then. His 2016 release, Coloring Book, was one of the most acclaimed albums of the year, and his live performances are not to be missed. If you’re a fan of hip hop or just looking for something new and fresh, Chance the Rapper is definitely worth checking out.

Kendrick Lamar

Kendrick Lamar is one of the most successful and critically-acclaimed rappers of his generation. His debut album, good kid, m.A.A.d city, was certified platinum and earned him seven Grammy nominations, including Album of the Year. His second album, To Pimp a Butterfly, debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 and won him five Grammy Awards, including Best Rap Album. His most recent album, DAMN., was also a critical and commercial success, earning him another Grammy Award for Best Rap Album.

J. Cole

J. Cole is an American hip hop recording artist, songwriter and record producer. Born on a military base in Germany and raised in Fayetteville, North Carolina, Cole initially gained recognition as a rapper following the release of his debut mixtape, The Come Up, in early 2007. He signed to American record label Roc Nation in 2009 and released his second mixtape, Friday Night Lights, the following year. His debut album for the label, Cole World: The Sideline Story, was released on September 27, 2011. It debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 chart and received generally positive reviews from critics. Following a two-year period of relative inactivity from 2014 onwards due to touring and personal matters, Cole released his fourth studio album,[16] 4 Your Eyez Only on December 9, 2016. The album debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 chart and was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) within one month of its release.[17]

He has been described as “one of rap’s most introspective and colorful storytellers”,[18][19] with a “socially conscious” style of writing.[20][21][22] He first came to mainstream popularity with the release of his second mixtape Friday Night Lights after signing to American record label Roc Nation in 2009.[23][24] Cole would go on to release four more studio albums: Cole World: The Sideline Story (2011), Born Sinner (2013), Forest Hills Drive (2014) and 4 Your Eyez Only (2016). Since becoming famous,[25] he has been honored by various institutions including BET,[26] MTV,[27][28] Billboard,[29] VH1’s Top 20 Hip Hop Artists during their annual awards show; The Source’s Man of the Year; Pitchfork Media’s Hip Hop Artist of the Year for both Forest Hills Drive[30] and 4 Your Eyez Only;[31][32]”Rapper of the Year” at BET Hip Hop Awards for Forest Hills Drive year;[33]”Artist of Decade” at Adidas; two Grammy Nominations for Best Rap Performance with Power Trip[34][35]. “No Problem” – Chance the Rapper ft. Lil Wayne & 2 Chainz

“No Problem” is a song by American hip hop artist Chance the Rapper, featuring American rappers Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz. It was released on May 27, 2016, by Chance the Rapper’s record label Coloring Book Music and distributed by independent label Rostrum Records. The song was produced by Brasstracks.

“Humble” – Kendrick Lamar

Kendrick Lamar’s “Humble” is one of the most talked about music videos of the year. The video, which was released in March, has over 100 million views on YouTube and earned Kendrick a Grammy nomination for Best Music Video.

The video was directed by Dave Meyers and the little homies, and it features Kendrick rapping in a variety of different settings, including an abandoned pool, a desert, and a forest. The video ends with Kendrick sitting on top of a car that’s been set on fire.

“Humble” is one of the highlights from Kendrick’s album DAMN., which was released in April and debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart.

“Neighbors” – J. Cole

“Neighbors” is a song by American hip hop recording artist J. Cole, released on December 9, 2016 as the lead single from his fourth studio album 4 Your Eyez Only. The song samples “I Remember” by Houston hip hop group UGK.
