Uptown Funk
“Uptown Funk” is a song by British record producer Mark Ronson from his fourth studio album, Uptown Special (2015), featuring American singer and rapper Bruno Mars. The song was written by Ronson, Mars, Jeff Bhasker, and Philip Lawrence, with horns arrangement by Dave Audé. “Uptown Funk” became a commercial success worldwide, reaching number one in several countries including the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada and the United States.

The alto saxophone is a member of the saxophone family of woodwind instruments invented by Belgian instrument maker Adolphe Sax in the 1840s, and patented in 1846.
