It can help you get into a walking rhythm

If you find it hard to get into a walking rhythm, or you tend to drag your feet when you walk, try listening to heavy metal music. The fast tempo of the music can help you pick up your pace and walk with more energy. And, as an added bonus, the music can help you forget about any fatigue you might be feeling.

“Sabbath Bloody Sabbath” by Black Sabbath

It was written in response to the band’s frustration with their grueling touring schedule and the lack of time they had to write new material. At almost five minutes in length, it is one of the band’s longest songs and is considered one of their best.

The song opens with a slow, menacing guitar riff before abruptly shifting gears into a more uptempo section driven byTony Iommi’s signature heavy metal groove. The middle section features a solo by guitarist Geezer Butler, who also wrote the song’s lyrics. The song ends with a return to the opening riff, followed by a concluding solo by Iommi.

While Sabbath Bloody Sabbath was not released as a single, it has since become one of the band’s most popular songs, and is often cited as one of the greatest metal songs of all time. It has been covered by numerous artists, including Metallica, Megadeth, Anthrax, and Pantera.

“War Pigs” by Black Sabbath

“War Pigs” is a song by the English rock band Black Sabbath. Written in 1968 and inspired by the Vietnam War, it was first released on the band’s 1970 album Paranoid.

Bassist Geezer Butler wrote the lyrics after hearing John Lennon’s song “Give Peace a Chance”. Butler said he was “‘sick to death of people moaning about Vietnam and stuff like that'”, but wanted to write a song with a positive message. He came up with lyrics about politicians who start wars but never fight them themselves.
