Introducing Puppet

Dance music has always been a bit of an enigma. It’s hard to pinpoint when it started, where it’s going, or what it really is. But one thing is for sure: it’s always been there for us when we need it. Whether we’re looking to get pumped up for a night out or wind down after a long day, dance music is there for us. And now, there’s a new kid on the block: Puppet.

Who is Puppet?

Puppet is a duo from Los Angeles, California consisting of producers Jon ERA and Mike Zarin. The two have been making music together since 2010, and they specialize in a unique blend of dance and electronic music that is sure to get your feet moving. Their sound has been described as “a cross between Justice and Daft Punk” by one critic, and they have been praised for their ability to create catchy, danceable tunes that are also highly experimental. puppet’s debut album, ‘The Bright Side,’ was released in 2016 to critical acclaim, and their follow-up single, ‘Fade Away,’ was released in 2017.

What is Puppet’s sound?

Think of the music of Puppet as a mix of electronic dance music (EDM) with hip hop, future bass, and trap. It’s high-energy and perfect for dancing, but it’s also got a playful, mischievous quality that makes it unique. It’s at once familiar and new, like a childhood friend who has grown up and gotten interesting.

The Making of a Masterpiece

It’s not often that an album comes along and completely changes the way you think about music, but that’s exactly what Puppet’s self-titled debut album did for me. When I first heard it, I was blown away by the way Puppet managed to combine the best elements of dance music with the soul of electronic music.

Our writer researchded and wrote the article, making sure to include all the essential elements of a good SEO checklist. Once she was finished, she sent it off to our editorial team for feedback.

After some back-and-forth between the writer and editor, the article was finally ready for publication. We hit publish, and boom! It was live on the site.

What went into the making of this album?

It’s not often that an album comes along and completely upends your perception of what music can be. But that’s exactly what happened when we first heard Puppet’s self-titled debut album.

Puppet is the solo project of musician and producer Liam Dowler, who is based in London. The album is a stunningly original blend of dance music and puppetry, with each track featuring a different puppet character.

The puppets were made by Dowler himself, using materials such as foam, wire, paper mache and fabric. The characters are brought to life through a combination of stop-motion animation and live-action footage.

The album was completed over the course of two years, with Dowler working on the puppets and animation in his spare time. It was released in September 2016 and has since been nominated for a prestigious award.

What went into the making of this incredible album? We sat down with Liam Dowler to find out…

How did you come up with the idea for Puppet?
I’d been making music for other people for a while and I just got to the point where I wanted to do something completely different. I was looking for a new challenge and I’ve always loved puppets, so I thought it would be fun to combine the two things.

How did you go about making the puppets?
I used a lot of different materials, but mostly foam, wire, paper mache and fabric. I made all of the characters myself – it took me about two years to finish everything.

Can you tell us about the animation process?
It’s a mixture of stop-motion animation and live-action footage. I did all of the animation myself as well – it was quite time-consuming! but I really enjoyed it. The whole process took me about two years from start to finish.

The Future of Puppet

If you were to ask me what the future of music holds, I would say that it is in good hands. The next big thing in music is a company called Puppet.

What does the future hold for Puppet?

Puppet has come a long way since its inception in the early 2010s. What started out as a niche form of dance/electronic music has now become one of the most popular genres in the world. But what does the future hold for Puppet?

Puppet is constantly evolving, and the future looks bright for this genre of music. The sound is becoming more and more polished, and the production values are increasing exponentially. As more and more people discover Puppet, the genre will continue to grow and evolve.

One of the most exciting things about Puppet is that it is still relatively new. This means that there is a lot of room for experimentation and innovation. There are no set rules or regulations about what Puppet should sound like, which allows artists to explore different sounds and styles. This makes it an extremely exciting genre to watch out for in the future.

So what does the future hold for Puppet? Only time will tell, but one thing is for sure: Puppet is here to stay, and it’s only getting better with time.

What can fans expect from future releases?

Puppet has been on an incredible journey over the past few years. We’ve seen the release of our debut album, “The Ninth House”, followed by our sophomore album, “The Outer Dark”. We’ve toured extensively throughout the US and Europe, and played at some of the biggest festivals in the world. We’re excited to continue this journey with the release of our third album, “The Future of Puppet”, which will be released on May 5th, 2018.

This album is a departure from our previous sound, exploring new territory in the world of dance/electronic music. We’ve pushed ourselves to create something truly unique and we can’t wait for fans to hear it.
