The song is a cover of the traditional Christmas song “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town”, with lyrics modified to be about the fictional character Hank Scorpio from The Simpsons. In the song, Scorpio threatens to kill Santa if he does not bring him presents. The original lyrics to the chorus are modified to “You’d better watch out, you better not cry / You better not pout, I’m telling you why / Santa Claus is coming to town”.
