The Strokes

The Strokes are an American rock band from New York City. Formed in 1998, the group is composed of vocalist Julian Casablancas, lead guitarist Nick Valensi, rhythm guitarist Albert Hammond Jr., bassist Nikolai Fraiture, and drummer Fabrizio Moretti. Following the completion of several demo recordings in 1999 and 2000, the band signed to RCA Records.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs

Formed in New York City in 2000, Yeah Yeah Yeahs is an indie rock band made up of Karen O, Nick Zinner, and Brian Chase. The group rose to prominence in the early 2000s as part of the city’s vibrant musical scene, and their popularity increased with the release of their 2003 debut album, Fever to Tell. The band has since released two more studio albums, 2006’s Show Your Bones and 2013’s Mosquito, to critical and commercial acclaim. They continue to tour regularly, and their live shows are renowned for their energetic, exciting performances.

Interpol

Interpol is an American rock band from New York City. Formed in 1997, the band’s original line-up consisted of Paul Banks (vocals, guitar), Daniel Kessler (guitar, vocals), and Greg Drudy (drums). Drudy left the band in 2000 and was replaced by Sam Fogarino. His replacement in turn, Manuel Harlan, lasted only one tour with the band before Fogarino rejoined. In 2010 Harlan was again replaced by Brad Virtanen. The band’s discography includes seven studio albums: Turn on the Bright Lights (2002), Antics (2004), Our Love to Admire (2007), Interpol (2010), El Pintor (2014), Marauder (2018) and A Fine Mess EP

Yeah Yeah Yeahs – 8:00pm

Formed in New York City in the early 2000s, Yeah Yeah Yeahs is an American indie rock band that is known for their unique blend of punk and new wave influences. The band is composed of singer and guitarist Karen O, drummer Brian Chase, and guitarist Nick Zinner.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs first gained attention in the underground music scene with their self-released EP Fever to Tell in 2001. The EP caught the attention of record labels and the band was signed to Interscope Records. Their debut album, Fever to Tell, was released in 2003 to critical acclaim. The album spawned the singles “Maps” and “Date with the Night”, which both received heavy airplay on alternative radio stations.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ follow-up album, Show Your Bones, was released in 2006 and debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 chart. The album was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Alternative Music Album. The first single from the album, “Gold Lion”, was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal.

The band took a hiatus in 2009 but returned in 2013 with their fourth studio album, Mosquito. The album was produced by TV on the Radio’s Dave Sitek and featured guest appearances from David Byrne, Kool A.D., and Doug Ett sy of TV on cVhe Radio. Mosquito debuted at number six on the Billboard 200 chart and received positive reviews from critics.

Formed in 1997, the band’s original line-up consisted of Paul Banks (vocals, guitar), Daniel Kessler (guitar, vocals), and Greg several years of relative inactivity, the band released their fourth album, El Pintor, on September 9, 2014 to critical acclaim. The album peaked at No. 7 on the Billboard 200, making it the band’s highest-charting album in the United States.
