How to Create a Reggae Music Ringtone for Your Phone. If you want to add some flavor to your phone, you can create a reggae ringtone.

Choose the section of the song you want as your ringtone.

Open the song in your music editing software. If you do not have any music editing software, Audacity is a free program that will work for both Windows and Mac computers (see Resources). Press “Ctrl-A” to select the entire song, then click and drag your mouse over the section of the song you want to use as your ringtone. The selected portion of the song will be highlighted in blue.

Go to an online ringtone converter.

There are a number of online ringtone converters that you can use to create a reggae music ringtone. One such converter is the “Ringtone Maker” found at Myxer.com. This website allows you to upload a music file from your computer, then select a portion of the song that you want to use as your ringtone. You can also choose to fade the ringtone in and out, or have it repeat. Once you have created your reggae ringtone, you can then download it to your computer or phone.

Upload the song.

You will need to have the song that you would like to use as a ringtone on your computer. If you have the song on a CD, you will need to rip the song onto your computer. You can do this by opening up iTunes and clicking on “File” and then “Add File to Library.” A box will pop open and you can browse for the file on your CD. Once the song is in your iTunes library, highlight the song and click on “Get Info” in the menu bar. A box will pop open with information about the song. Click on the tab that says “Options.” In the section that says “Start Time” and “Stop Time,” type in the times for when you would like your ringtone to start and stop playing. For example, if you only want a 30 second clip of the song, you would type in 0:30 for the start time and 1:00 for the stop time. Once you have done this, click “OK” at the bottom of the box

Select the section you want and hit “convert.”

In order to create a reggae music ringtone, you will need to select the section of the song that you want and hit “convert.” This will allow you to save the selected portion of the song as an MP3 file.

Download the ringtone to your computer.

1. Go to the website of your choice.
2. Find the reggae song you want as your ringtone.
3. Download the song to your computer by clicking on the “Download” or “MP3” button.
4. Right-click on the downloaded song and select “Create AAC Version.” iTunes will create a copy of the song in AAC format, which is the format used for ringtones.
5. Right-click on the new AAC file and select “Get Info.” In the window that appears, go to the “Options” tab and check “Start” and “Stop.” This tells iTunes where to start and stop playing the song when it is used as a ringtone. For example, if you want only the chorus of a song as your ringtone, you would enter the starting and stopping time codes for that section in these fields.
6. Once you have entered the start and stop times, close the Get Info window.
7. Right-click on the AAC file again and select “Convert Selection to MP3.” This will create an MP3 version of only the section of the song that you selected in step 5, which is what you will use as your ringtone.
8. Connect your iPhone to your computer using its USB cable and click on it in iTunes under Devices.
9. Drag and drop your new MP3 file into iTunes under Ringtones

Connect your phone to your computer and transfer the ringtone.

To create a reggae music ringtone, you will first need to connect your phone to your computer. Once the connection is made, you will need to transfer the ringtone onto your phone. The easiest way to do this is by using a USB cable. Once the ringtone is on your phone, you can then set it as your default ringtone.
