Telemundo announced the Latin Music Awards 2022 and opened voting for the public to decide the winners in multiple categories. The Latin Music Awards are an annual music awards show that celebrates the best in Latin music. This year’s show will be broadcast live on Telemundo on April 25, 2022.

Telemundo and Latin Music Awards

Telemundo announced today the return of the Latin Music Awards, a star-studded event that celebrates the best in Latin music. The show will air live on Telemundo on April 23, 2022 at 8pm/7c from AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami.

Now in its ninth year, the Latin Music Awards showcase the most popular artists and songs in different genres including Pop, Urban, Regional Mexican and Tropical. This year’s show will feature an expanded format with more live music performances and special tributes throughout the night.

“We are excited to bring back the Latin Music Awards and celebrate the biggest names in music with our fans,” said Eva Divertido, Senior Vice President of Specials and Events for Telemundo. “After a difficult year for everyone, we are looking forward to putting on a spectacular show that will entertain viewers and honor the best in Latin music.”

Voting

Voting for the Latin Music Awards is now open!

Fans can vote for their favorite artists in four general categories: Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, Album of the Year, and Best New Artist. In addition, there are more specific genre categories such as Best Urban Performance, Best Alternative Song, and Best Crossover Artist.

To vote, fans can go to LatinMusicAwards.com and register with their email address or social media account. Once registered, they can start voting for their favorite artists in each category. Fans can vote once per day in each category until voting closes on March 31st at 11:59pm EST.

The Latin Music Awards will take place on April 27th, 2022 and will be broadcast live on Telemundo from the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida.

Opens Voting

Telemundo announced today the sixth edition of the Latin Music Awards will take place on April 20, 2022 at a new location, the AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami. The Awards will air live on Telemundo at 8pm/7c. To maximize fan engagement, the network is opening up voting in select categories starting today. Fans can vote once per day across all digital platforms, including Telemundo.com, the Telemundo App, and the Awards’ official social media handles on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.

How to Vote

It’s time to celebrate the best in Latin music! The Latin Music Awards 2022 will air on Telemundo on Thursday, April 6 at 8pm/7c. Leading up to the awards show, fans can vote for their favorite artists in select categories at LatinMusicAwards.com.

You will be directed to a registration page where you will be asked to provide your email address and create a password. Once you have registered, you will be logged in and able to vote. Note: You can only vote once per category, so make your choices count!
